PixelLedger publishes journalism and market analysis about the games industry. This page sets out the limits of what that coverage is — and is not — so you can read it in the right spirit.
Information, not advice
Everything we publish is for information and general understanding. Our analysis, models and figures describe how we read the market; they are not investment, financial, legal or accounting advice, and they are not a recommendation to buy, sell or fund anything. Before you act on a business decision, take advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation.
Numbers move
Round sizes, valuations, sell-through and headcounts change, and sources revise. We report figures as accurately as we can at the time of writing and flag estimates as estimates, but we cannot guarantee that every number stays current or that a third party's data was complete. Where we get something wrong, we correct it openly.
Not a gambling site
PixelLedger covers the business of video games — studios, launches and funding. Nothing here promotes wagering, real-money play, or games of chance for cash, and none of our coverage should be read as encouragement to risk money on an outcome. Any reference to "the market" means the games industry as a sector, not a place to place a bet.
Outside links
We sometimes link to filings, studios and other outlets to support a story. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability. A link is a pointer, not an endorsement.
Pricing for PixelLedger Pro may change; any change applies to future billing only. If you have a question about how to read a particular piece of analysis, write to [email protected] and we will happily explain our working.
